They do a wonderful job assisting Veterans getting Jobs, by assisting them with Computers and helping them fill out Resumes. They feed the hungry (needed) one day a week, days may vary. They have an abundance of articles for resale, some are free. I encourage those in need to visit Veterans Empowering Veterans.
I have been a member since it began: I. J. Elder,, Sr. Command Sergeant Major, Retired U.S. Army
Visited the Empowerment Center to gather information about volunteering. Warm and courteous environment and a great place for a veteran to start when in need of a helping hand to get back on their feet or stay on their feet when at a loss.
Great people and environment. The people there actually love to help people.
Great staff. They are friendly and always give a hand up, not a hand out.
I'm having a difficult time making ends meet, and I am so grateful for Veterans Empowering Veterans! I've recently used their Food Pantry and I'm so happy with what I received! I've used other local pantries and rarely do I receive meat. When I do, it's usually just lunch meat or hot dogs, for which, don't get me wrong, I am very grateful. The food package I received from VEV contained London Broil, crab cakes, honey ham and many other superior meat selections. It is so nice that I'm not getting other people's rejections! I also enjoy partaking in the Camaraderie Luncheon. It's nice meeting and talking with other veterans who are experiencing the same things I'm going through. It's also fun when we play trivia and win prizes. I'm so glad that I found this wonderful group!
When you need someone to listen to you. They care so much. Mrs. Renee and Mr. Calvin will go out of their way for you.
Ms. Renee and her staff are truly the most amazing group of people! From the moment I touched ground on their property, they have been understanding, helpful, and so kind! I went to make a donation, and they ended up being a blessing to me! If you are a veteran and need help, call them! They are veterans helping veterans!
Great people and environment. The people there actually love to help people.
They are fully committed to our veterans and their families! They have helped us serve veteran children. They have helped so many in need!
I would like to say great website, and I see that you are doing great things for the Veterans and their families.
